POSITION DUTIES

Manages, plans, high quality, cost effective medical records department which provides accurate medical records and ensures timely completion and submission of records for reimbursements as required by Kaiser and government regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Generally 3 to 5 years prior experience in a Medical Records department. Prior supervisor experience (usually 2 years) in Medical Records management. In-depth understanding of all state/federal regulations and CMRI, NCQA and The Joint Commission.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

How many years of related experience are you looking for in your ideal candidate?: 4 years of professional coding and billing experience (hospital coding inpatient and out patient). Supervisory/lead or project management experience preferred. Registered Health Information Technician, or Certified Coding Specialist, or Registered Health Information Administrator
