As an HIM Analyst you will:

As an HIM Analyst you will:
- Reviews the medical record for completeness, accuracy, and consistency according to The Joint Commission, Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
- Analyze electronic charts for record completion to track and manage deficiencies
- Locate, track, and coordinate electronic documents, including transcription
- May assist with chart pickup, as time permits, and with reconciling retrieved medical records against patient discharge lists, ensuring receipt of all records within 24 hours of patient discharge
- May batch, label and route loose reports, late charts/documentation for scanning and may scan and index loose reports/documents that are critical to coding, prioritizing according to policy
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
- High school graduate or GED
- Associate or bachelor's degree in HIM, preferred
- 5+ year experience in HIM
- RHIT, preferred

$19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
