In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery processes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with clients experiencing addiction challenges, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health issues, implementing care plans and monitoring vital signs. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe environment where clients can begin their journey toward recovery. Responsibilities Monitor and document patients' vital signs regularly to ensure stability during detoxification processes Assist with non narcotics medical administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical records Conduct medical assessments and collect data to track progress and inform treatment plans Support clients with special needs, including those with autism or developmental disabilities, through tailored behavior management techniques Respond promptly to crisis situations using crisis intervention and crisis management skills to de-escalate behaviors Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans that incorporate addiction counseling, applied behavior analysis, and social work principles Maintain a safe environment by adhering to medical terminology standards, medical documentation protocols, and confidentiality regulations Experience Prior experience working in health a related medical setting is preferred Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively and perform crisis intervention techniques Experience working with individuals with chronic and severe medical conditions Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations is essential Certification in biofrequency administration or relevant healthcare training is a plus Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations in high-pressure environments Join us in making a meaningful difference!
