Job Description
Position Overview At UHS, we believe every connection matters—especially the link between accurate clinical data and high‑quality patient care. As a Clinical Abstraction Specialist, you will abstract inpatient and outpatient medical record data in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring timely, precise submissions to CMS, TJC, and clinical registries. Your work supports compliance, transparency, and meaningful insight across our health system. In this role, you'll audit records for CMS Conditions of Participation and TJC standards, provide consultation and support to clinical and operational teams, and participate in process improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma. If you're driven by detail, collaboration, and purpose, this is an opportunity to make an impact in an organization where every connection truly matters.
