Work Schedule:
100% FTE. Scheduled shifts are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a remote position. We are seeking a Health Information Access Specialist to: Work closely with UW Health Specialty Clinics to identify pertinent patient information to assist in the scheduling, ambulatory access, and pre-visit planning processes Collaborate to optimize workflows around record gathering and abstraction, streamlining the prior authorization process, and optimizing use of electronic medical records Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) functionalities and Access Database to coordinate record retrieval from external providers At UW Health, you will have: An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
