Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a Health Information Specialist to support front desk operations and Release of Information (ROI) services at a healthcare location in Northhampton. This is a hybrid role, combining on-site, patient-facing responsibilities with remote work as business needs allow. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant handling of medical record requests. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, is detail-oriented, and is interested in long-term growth within a healthcare organization. πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as the front desk point of contact for patient walk-ins requesting medical records or releases Provide phone support to patients, providers, and authorized requestors Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and timely Fax, scan, and manage incoming and outgoing medical record requests Burn medical images to CDs and share images electronically as required Support client relationship management through professional communication Assist with reporting and administrative duties such as data entry and email Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and facility policies πŸŽ“ Training & Onboarding DHISC training provided On-the-job, onsite training during the first 30 days ⭐ Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in a patient-facing, front desk environment Detail-oriented with the ability to manage confidential information Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask and work independently πŸ’° Benefits & Growth Opportunities Full-time benefits, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Paid Time Off, including major holidays Hybrid work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company 🎯 Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required β€’ Must be 18 years of age or older Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role. The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is: $16.11β€”$19.66 USD To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
