Job Description
Indianapolis Education and Support Srvcs Center 421 N Emerson Ave Greenwood, Indiana 46143 The HIM Processing Specialist prepares documents for scanning into the electronic medical record system. The Technician scans and indexes documents to the appropriate document type in the document imaging system to be integrated into the electronic health record (EHR).

This position works On Site at the Education Center (ESSC) building.Address:
421 N Emerson Ave, Greenwood, IN.Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8am
- 4:30pm Determines document types within the document imaging application to ensure the accuracy of the medical record and provide consistency and standardization in the location of documents in the electronic health record for clinicians and end users; Reviews documents for processing to ensure patient identification is present on document; escalates to manager if document is unable to be processed for follow up with clinical department.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED- Required 1 year Healthcare Setting
- Preferred 1 year Electronic Health Record (EHR) Document Imaging
