Medical Records Technician Compass Medical Provider, LLC - 3.9 Draper, UT Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Compass Medical Provider, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Records Technician to support the Utah Army National Guard with the management and tracking of soldiers' health records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced military healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and maintain medical records for all assigned soldiers Perform administrative medical charting and request medical exams as needed Attend Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) events, based on state scheduling needs Upload and index medical documents into the Health Readiness Record (HRR) system Maintain accurate hard-copy and electronic medical records Ensure medical documentation is properly filed and accessible Obtain and manage Release of Information (ROI) as required Follow up on medical appointments and ensure compliance Communicate with soldiers to request and collect required medical documentation Provide SOP briefings to soldiers referred for further medical evaluation Respond promptly to voicemails and emails throughout the day
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience working in medical records or health administration Completion of annual HIPAA training required
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with military or government healthcare systems Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) platforms Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
