NonePOSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Record employee is responsible for pre-loading patient medical information into their electronic health record. This individual will scan and upload documents along with reviewing health records for completeness and accuracy. He or she must maintain confidentiality at all times.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)- Manage telephone, fax, and email medical record requests in a timely and organized manner to ensure effective communication and excellent customer service.
- Upload and scan documents into the electronic health record
- Ensure that patient's medical information is loaded into patients charts before scheduled appointments.
- Ensure that medical records are completed in a timely manner according to office policy and VA guidelines.
- Ensure that forms are completed in a timely manner and accurately.
- Assisting with scheduling of appointments of post-partum visits.
- Assisting with answering switchboard calls.
- Analyze procedures and make recommendations to supervisor for improvements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Other tasks as deemed necessary.
