Job Description
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Records Tech to work alongside our Health Information Management Department. The incumbent retrieves documentation from various nursing units and ancillary departments and scans into the electronic medical record in a timely manner, accurately indexing each document according to document type and patient. Reviews medical records for compliant documentation, assigning and tracking deficiencies as necessary. Processes requests for Release of Information assuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
