Job Description
Medical Receptionist We are a small doctors office looking to hire someone who is: friendly, professional, works well with others, takes initiative, is organized, learns quickly, and has the ability to follow directions consistently and accurately. We are looking for someone to cross train between medical assistant and medical receptionist but will start off training as a medical receptionist. The job duties for medical receptionist include, but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, checking patients in and out of their appointments, filing, taking copays/handling money, checking insurance benefits, preparing charts for future appointments, light cleaning, etc. We have 2 locations: Decatur & Madison. •You must be able to travel to both locations. The hours/ days are as followed: Mondays & Thursdays= Decatur 7:45-5:30 (ish) Tuesdays & Wednesdays= Madison 8:15-5:30 (ish) Hours vary for when we leave depending on patient load that day!
