Job Description

```Duties```
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Verify patient information and insurance coverage
  • Maintain patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Collect co-pays and process payments
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality ```Qualifications```
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems like Athena or similar systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
