Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This position involves managing front desk operations, and providing exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical administrative skills, familiarity with EMR systems, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using EMR systems. Schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and perform insurance verification processes Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA standards Manage multi-line phone systems, handle patient inquiries with professional phone etiquette, and direct calls appropriately Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure smooth clinic operations Skills Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities Ability to handle administrative support tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Previous medical office experience is highly desirable for understanding healthcare workflows and documentation standards Very important to have a good work ethic, be dependable, and have a great attitude. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
