Medical Receptionist/Physical Therapy Clinic Receptionist

New West Physical Therapy is looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at our busy physical therapy clinic! If you enjoy helping people, keeping things running smoothly, and creating a positive first impression, you'll fit right in with our compassionate, dedicated team. You'll play an essential role in supporting both our patients and our therapists, making each visit a comfortable and seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
• Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
• Assist with medical billing and coding
• Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
• Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
