Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Office - Billing and Reception specialist, where your enthusiasm and expertise will drive exceptional patient experiences and efficient office operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing reception duties with professionalism and warmth, while also overseeing billing processes to ensure accurate and timely claims submissions. Your proactive approach will help streamline administrative workflows, support revenue cycle management, and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify appointment details, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures to ensure smooth patient flow Collect payments, process insurance co-pays, and handle patient billing inquiries with clarity and courtesy Prepare and submit dental insurance claims using billing software - Open Dental Review medical records and documentation to verify accuracy for billing purposes Manage accounts receivable by following up on outstanding claims and coordinating with insurance companies for claim resolution Maintain organized dental records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions regarding insurance coverage, payment options, and appointment scheduling Skills Strong knowledge of healthcare claims management, including familiarity with medical coding (DRG, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10) and medical billing procedures Proficiency in billing software - Open Dental, etc Experience working with EMR/EHR systems to update patient information accurately In-depth understanding of health insurance policies, dental terminology, and dental records management Excellent communication skills to deliver clear explanations to patients regarding billing processes and insurance claims Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude that fosters trust and rapport with patients Join us in delivering top-tier dental care by combining your administrative expertise with a passion for exceptional patient service. $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
