Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Receptionist, where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance information, and support the smooth flow of daily clinic activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Eaglesoft. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility Collect and review patient documentation including medical history forms, consent forms, and treatment plans. Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Maintain organized dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security. Coordinate patient intake processes and ensure accurate documentation of care plans and treatment schedules. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and ensure timely patient flow. Skills Proven experience in dental office with strong front desk skills. Familiarity with dental terminology Proficiency in computer skills including Eaglesoft. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette for handling patient inquiries effectively. Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous clinic or dental office experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
