We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview :
The Phone Operator will courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension, gather all relevant information, schedule appointments, take and relay messages in a timely manner, and ensure information is appropriately input into the EHR system.Qualifications :
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Receptionist.
- Experience in a medical office preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records systems.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Responsibilities :
- Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension.
- Take and relay messages in a timely manner.
- Perform operator functions including triaging calls, connecting and transferring calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service and a pleasant phone experience for callers.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
