Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Office/Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines exceptional patient service with efficient administrative support, ensuring smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess a strong understanding of medical office procedures, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and healthcare documentation standards. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, and assist with registration processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Schedule appointments efficiently, manage patient flow, and coordinate treatment plans with clinical staff Review and update medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies Assist with medical billing and collections by verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding balances Maintain thorough knowledge of health insurance policies including Medi-cal and PPO Insurance Manage phone communication with patients and providers using professional phone etiquette; handle inquiries related to appointments, billing, or insurance Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, ADA coding, and medical billing procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite for documentation review and administrative tasks Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional patient care through organized front office operations!
