In addition this position supports the daily operations of the practice by providing excellent customer service in answering phones, collecting patient balances, co-pays and scheduling appointments.

Maintains and verifies accurate and thorough intake of patient information. Experience with Insurance verification is a must. Answers and directs incoming phone calls appropriately. Provides efficient and effective scheduling of patient appointments. Verifies patient specialist authorization. Collects patient balances and copays as designated. Provide compassionate patient advocacy and support. Accurate documentation in medical records. Excellent customer service skills. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic medical office. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Two year Medical Office experience preferred. Must have experience with insurance verification, Electronic Health Record, Computer literacy, Professional telephone etiquette, Hippa and Osha experienced. Must be cheerful with a team participant mentality, professional verbal skills, multitask and able to work in a busy environment.
