Clinical Front Desk Glendora Glendora, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Insurance verification Medical insurance coverage verification Customer service High school diploma or GED Computer skills Full Job Description Seeking a diligent, self-motivating, and personable front office medical assistant who is willing to learn and grow with the practice.
Typical responsibilities include:
Obtaining referrals and authorizations Verifying insurance eligibility for patients Scheduling patient's appointment Responding to inquiries from insurance companies and patients Submitting prior authorizations for patient medications Maintaining surgery schedule for physician(s) Completing data entry of all patient demographics, guarantor, and insurance information Working with billing staff to identify action plans to address billing errors that result from registration and eligibility activities Handling fax distribution to include but not limited to: Urgent MD faxes, referrals, medical records and Rx refills Help collect patient balances and post payments Qualifications and skills: Experience with medical insurance, including HMO and PPO plans Intermediate knowledge of computer systems, including EHR and general principles of medical record documentation Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, office staff Outstanding time management and organization skills Empathetic of patient needs and concerns Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Pay:

High school or equivalent (Required)
