Request, scan, and manage medical records. Process referrals and maintain accurate patient data. Review and distribute incoming faxes. Processing Medical Record Assist Medical Assistants as needed. Scheduling Manage appointments (schedule/reschedule/cancellations) Keep provider schedules accurate and efficient. Educate patients on upcoming visits and procedures. Work on incoming new patient referrals QA & correct any scheduling errors. What You Bring 1+ year Medical Assistant experience Completion of a Medical Assistant program CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) Strong EMR and computer skills Excellent communication and multitasking abilities A positive attitude and team-first mindset Excellent organization and time management Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Medical terminology and clinical procedures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards Integrity and reliability Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Work Environment Outpatient clinic setting Combination of clinical + administrative work
