Job Description

Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking experienced Medical Receptionists for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities in the Pasadena/Burbank/Glendale, California areas. This position is perfect for candidates who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and enjoy providing excellent patient care at the front desk. As a Medical Receptionist, individuals will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front office experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical office operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify insurance information and collect co-pays Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Coordinate with medical staff to support daily operations
Qualifications Required:
Previous medical front desk or medical receptionist experience Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting
Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin Experience with EMR/EHR systems Familiarity with insurance verification and referrals Required Work Hours The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility depending on the needs of the healthcare organization.
