Job Description

Our pediatric dental office has been treating the children of Pinole and the surrounding areas since 1999 and is looking for an experienced front desk person who is friendly, a team player, and detail oriented. The position is Monday - Thursday with the occasional Friday and we are looking to hire immediately. The ideal candidate must be Spanish speaking and have good management skills, great staff/patient communication skills, and knowledge of dental insurance and dental terminology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answering the phone Appointment scheduling and confirmation Presenting treatment plans to patients and making financial arrangements Working with insurance (verification, submission, follow up) Patient communications (phone, e-mail, written) Coordinating treatment plans Calculation and collection of patient's co-payments Posting insurance claims and payments Accounts receivables (patient and insurance) Working with orthodontic claims We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills/traits: Fluent in Spanish - both speaking and writing Well-organized, self-motivated, positive outlook Great people skills (ability to communicate clearly through all modes of communication) Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Social Networks) Energetic and enthusiastic personality Previous dental experience Knowledge of Open Dental What we offer: Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation and sick days 8 paid holidays Medical benefits (Negotiable) 401(k) profit sharing plan Please email your resume with a cover letter to apply for the position
