Role:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail‑driven Front Office Dental Receptionist to join our Redlands, CA team on a part‑time basis. You'll support smooth daily operations, provide excellent patient experiences, and assist both general dentistry and orthodontic workflows.
Responsibilities:
Patient check‑in & check‑out — greet patients, verify information, update charts, manage flow Appointment scheduling — manage daily schedule, confirm appointments, handle cancellations Insurance verification — verify benefits, collect documentation, communicate coverage Financial coordination — collect payments, explain balances, provide receipts Phone & communication management — answer calls, respond to messages, assist patients Records & documentation — maintain accurate patient records, scan documents, ensure compliance Front office organization — maintain a clean, welcoming reception area Support orthodontic scheduling, financial worksheets, and patient flow
Requirements:
Dental office experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment Familiarity with dental software: Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Archy Professional, reliable, and team‑oriented attitude High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Skills Knowledge of dental terminology Experience with insurance verification and financial discussions Ability to handle patient concerns with professionalism Bilingual skills (optional) Work Schedule Part‑time 3-5 days per week depending on workflow Occasional flexibility based on patient volume Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Dental/orthodontic benefits Supportive team environment with growth opportunities
