Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Job description A part-time job available for those looking for work after regular business hours, weekends, and holidays Possible shifts: Mon-Fri 5 pm-10pm Sat, Sun, and Holidays 9:45 am - 3:30pm or 3:30 pm - 10 pm A very busy after hours pediatric urgent care clinic in San Mateo is seeking an experienced part-time receptionist to work a minimum of 2 shifts a week and one shift on weekdays. Responsibilities:

You are the first point of contact with patients. Greeting and registering patients or answering phone calls Using AdvancedMD and SOLV to manage the schedule as we welcome walk-ins and appointments Verifying insurances and collecting co-pays, and keeping careful totals of all money collected Answering busy phones and responding to email requests. Creating and managing patient charts and faxing to primary providers.

Qualifications:

Spanish speaking is preferred Good written and communication skills Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Punctuality and reliability is very important. Answering busy phone calls from patients. Responding to email requests from patients. Must work 2 shifts a week and at least two weekend shifts a month and a minimum of two major Holidays per year
