We are a new startup dental practice in Southern California, built on a mission to deliver exceptional, modern dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist & Treatment Coordinator who thrives in an evolving environment. You will play a key role in creating an outstanding patient experience, from the first phone call to treatment plan coordination. As an early team member, you'll have the opportunity to help establish systems and workflows while being the face of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage patient scheduling Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and manage patient billing Present and review treatment plans, explaining procedures, costs, and financing options Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits Assist in developing and refining front office systems and patient flow Support the team with other administrative and operational duties
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a dental office setting preferred Strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance verification, and patient communication Familiarity with dental software (Oryx - we can train you!) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills High level of adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Assisting experience is a plus Excited to be part of a startup environment and grow with the practice Why Join Us?
