Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Front Office Representative .
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and medical information.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations when applicable.
- Manage incoming phone calls, patient inquiries, and appointment requests.
- Utilize Epic, CS-Link, or other EMR/EHR systems to enter, update, and maintain patient records.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Collect copays, process payments, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform general administrative and front office support duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of patient services experience.
- 2+ years of experience working in a medical office, outpatient clinic, physician/doctor's office, or healthcare setting.
- Experience using CS-Link and/or Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Strong customer service and patient relations skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare technology systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.
