The ideal candidate
MUST HAVE DENTAL 3 YEARS DENTAL INSURANCE
EXPERIENCE and will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, insurance verifications, and dental billing processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in dental office systems, and a strong understanding of healthcare documentation and coding. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where patient service and administrative support are paramount. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare, and private insurers Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collect payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances; handle dental collections as needed Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation review for billing purposes Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries Perform data entry tasks such as typing reports, filing documents, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Support office management tasks including filing, organizing dental records, and maintaining office supplies Assist with intake procedures for new patients and coordinate care plans in collaboration with clinical staff Stay updated on dental terminology to ensure precise billing and documentation Requirements Proven experience in a dental office with extensive Dental Insurance experience. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10 key), and familiarity with multi-line phone systems Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping Prior experience with dental terminology, insurance processing, and office management is preferred Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment This position offers an engaging opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a compassionate healthcare team while advancing their skills in dental office management.
