Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you'll manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, and ensure smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and schedule appointments. Check patients in and out for appointments. Verify and update patient information and medical records. Collect payments and process insurance information. Maintain accurate patient files and confidentiality. Confirm appointments and communicate scheduling changes. Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorizations. Keep the reception area clean and organized. Provide administrative support to the dental team as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Friendly and compassionate customer service. Strong attention to detail. Time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous customer service or receptionist experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer and data entry skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
