Job Description

Job Summary:
Our friendly, busy pediatric practice is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our professional team. Responsibilities include complex scheduling, data entry, insurance validation, accounts receivable, and a commitment to coordinating patient care. Excellent communication skills and experience with a multi-line phone system and medical software are preferred.
Range of Pay:
$17.00-$18.50/per hour plus time and a half when working on Saturdays.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming calls and initial patient contacts.
  • Complex scheduling
  • Data entry
  • Insurance validation
  • Accounts receivable
  • Coordinating patient care
  • Screening patients
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
