Dental Office Receptionist at Comfort Dental North Ave.
Location:
Grand Junction, CO Schedule:
Mon-Fri 1pm-7:30pm, every other Saturday 7am-1pm
Salary:
$16-17/hour Position Overview The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment. This role involves managing patient scheduling, handling phone and email communications, and supporting the dental team with administrative duties. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Schedule and confirm patient appointments; maintain the appointment calendar. Collect patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation. Check patients in system and prep lobby waiting area. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow. Assist with answering and directing incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries or take accurate messages. Manage correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks as needed. Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or dental office training preferred. Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability speak Spanish, preferred Working Conditions Full-time schedule: Mon-Fri 1pm-7:30pm and every other Sat 7am-1pm Office environment with frequent interaction with patients and staff. Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
