Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their insurance coverage, and schedule appointments Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with precision, ensuring accurate documentation review and data entry. Handle phone communication professionally, providing clear information about clinic services and appointment availability while maintaining proper phone etiquette. Assist with medical billing and collections by processing payments, submitting claims Maintain comprehensive medical records, including filing and managing electronic health records with strict compliance to HIPAA regulations. Support clinical staff by reviewing documentation for accuracy and coordinating follow-up appointments. Perform clerical tasks such as typing reports, filing documents systematically, and supporting overall office operations to ensure smooth clinic functioning. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental setting with a high dental IQ. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient privacy. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and manage patient interactions effectively Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and health information management. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clinical confidentiality.
