Role:
Join our dynamic team at David J Domenichini MD as a Medical Receptionist, where you will be the first point of contact for our valued patients. This exciting role combines administrative expertise with a passion for patient care in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor. Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information systems. Assist with billing and insurance verification processes. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing office supplies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus. Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is beneficial. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. The Candidate must be proficient in:
Communication:
Clear, polite verbal and written skills are essential for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and taking accurate messages.
Homebase Customer Service:
A welcoming, professional demeanor ensures guests feel valued and creates a strong first impression of the business.
Multitasking:
The ability to juggle phone calls, in-person inquiries, and administrative tasks simultaneously without losing composure.
Organization:
Strong time management and attention to detail help keep the front desk tidy, track schedules, and easily retrieve documents or messages.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfort with modern office tools, such as multi-line phone systems, booking software, email, and visitor management systems. Including Insurance referrals , Prior Authorization submission.
