Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Front Desk Dental Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will be the first impression patients experience. In this vital role, you will manage patient check-ins and check-outs, coordinate appointments, verify insurance information, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting the administrative functions of our busy dental practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine excellent customer service with essential healthcare administrative support, all while working in a fast-paced, friendly setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Open Dental. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private plans. Collect patient information accurately and update electronic health records (EHR systems) while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and address patient concerns. Maintain organized medical records and files, including dental records and insurance documentation. Assist with intake procedures for new patients and facilitate smooth clinic flow throughout the day. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence to keep the front desk running seamlessly. Requirements For at least 1 year of Proven experience as a dental receptionist with strong clinic or office experience. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple phone lines using multi-line phone systems effectively. Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with insurance verification processes is highly valued.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
