Receptionist (Room to Grow into Clinical Coordinator)

Starting at $23/hour Position Overview Smile Services DC is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in growing into a Clinical Coordinator position as the practice continues to expand. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients professionally and courteously. Respond to patient emails in a timely manner. Schedule and confirm appointments. Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility. Maintain accurate patient information and appointment records. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for every patient. Assist with other front desk administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using computers and learning dental practice software. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. Previous dental or medical office experience is a plus, but not required. Growth Opportunity This position is designed for someone looking to build a career in dentistry. As the practice grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance into a Clinical Coordinator role. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $23/hour Opportunity for advancement based on performance and practice growth. Supportive team environment with hands-on training.
