Job Description
We're looking for an energetic and friendly receptionist to join our NutriHealth team! As the front line for our customers, you'll need to be both friendly and helpful. You'll be answering the phone, dealing with payments, and keeping track of appointments. Experience in medical administration is a plus, as is strong computer knowledge. Duties as the Medical Receptionist would include but are not limited to Welcoming patients and visitors in the office and answering inquiries or referring questions to the appropriate staff member Assists patients with insurance and billing questions Scheduling and confirming appointments for the providers and nutritionists/dieticians Maintaining, filing and updating patient records Collecting copays and payments for prescriptions and gym memberships Verifying insurance and preparing patient forms Providing assistant to Medical Assistant as needed Qualifications Strong computer skills Excellent clerical and office experience, with a focus on customer service Ability to handle multi-line phone systems Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or health information management systems
