Job Description

Our office is looking for a Dental Front Insurance Coordinator. We are a well-established cosmetic and family dentistry practice looking to add
FULL TIME 40
hours per week/PART TIME 20 hours per week, Insurance Coordinator/Receptionist Excellent Pay and Benefits Package including 401k. PSP and Medical Insurance. The right person should be excellent at patient care, highly professional, able to multitask, reliable, organized, and motivated. Have ADA billing knowledge. Be able to answer phones, greet patients, schedule, and verify insurance eligibility professionally and in a timely manner. Dental experience is required. Essential Duties:
Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and ensure patient information is complete and up to date Collect and process patient payments and insurance co-pays Schedule patient appointments Audit the patient record to prepare for future appointments Complete end of day documents and audits Oversee appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups Handle phone systems effectively, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility. Communicate with insurance companies to obtain plan coverage information. Review and update patient records in practice management software. Maintain organized documentation of insurance communications and verifications. Stay updated on insurance policies, changes, and regulations. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional patient care Proficient with practice management software (Dentrix preferred) Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus.
