Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion while creating an exceptional first impression. Check patients in and out while maintaining an efficient patient flow. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment, scheduling, pricing, financing, and office policies. Verify and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix. Process payments, collect balances, and reconcile daily transactions. Discuss financing options, including CareCredit, when appropriate. Assist patients with insurance documentation and claim information. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Follow up with prospective patients and encourage scheduling. Order and maintain office supplies and administrative materials. Support office operations by preparing reports and administrative paperwork. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist the clinical team with chairside support when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the practice. Qualifications 2+ years of dental front office or dental receptionist experience required Previous experience scheduling patients in a dental practice Experience using Dentrix preferred CareCredit experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and patient scheduling Experience managing the full dental insurance process, including insurance verification, benefit review, claim submission, pre-authorizations, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient financial communication Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Chairside assisting or oral surgery experience is a plus but not required
