To Be Considered, candidate must: Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be bilingual in Spanish and English . Minimum 2 years paid work experience in a medical office setting. Minimum 2 years consecutive work with your current / most recent employer.
Busy Orthopedic Practice seeking a:
Front Desk Associate to join our team. We're looking for a friendly, punctual, detail oriented person who enjoys helping people. Customer service skills and an ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner at all times is critical. Proficient with computers and managing high volume phones calls, faxes, texts and emails. Greets patients and assists patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Responsible for having patient complete appropriate paperwork; Demographics, arbitration, financial agreement, new patient paperwork, follow up forms, auto forms, and LOP's. Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties and collects copays as required. InsuranceVerification Complete check-in process; check-in patient with Doctor at correct location, attach appropriate forms for auto or W/C appointments. Responsible for retrieving and scanning in form of ID and insurance card for new patients. Responsible for making sure that all paperwork is completed and provided per the doctors requirements. Responsible for HIPAA compliance. Responsible for the retrieval and preparation of paperwork and documents for the next business day. Keep and maintain telephone, mail, email, portal, written communication logs. Other duties as assigned
Pay:
$17.50 - $19.50 per hour
