The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Register new patients and update existing patient information Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments Answer multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Scan and file medical documents appropriately Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform general office duties including faxing, copying, and data entry Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a medical office setting Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EMA Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple software systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor and appearance Proven reliability with consistent attendance Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Medical terminology knowledge Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus Compensation Starting pay: $17.00 per hour Pay rate dependent on experience level and qualifications What We're Looking For We value team members who demonstrate: Reliability - Consistent punctuality and dependable attendance Professionalism - Maintains a courteous, respectful attitude with patients and colleagues Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities To Apply Please submit your resume highlighting your EMR/EMA experience and medical office background.
