Job Description
Patient Experience & Front Desk Greet and welcome patients in a professional, friendly manner upon arrival Manage patient check-in and check-out efficiently, ensuring a smooth and positive experience Present patients with customer service surveys at checkout and escalate concerns promptly for immediate service recovery Routinely check the lobby and restrooms to ensure the office remains clean and presentable Registration & Scheduling Collect and accurately enter all demographic information for new patients into the EMR; verify and update existing patient information at every visit Schedule follow-up appointments before patients leave and manage appointment reminders Answer multi-line phones, take detailed messages, and route calls to the appropriate team member Billing & Insurance Collect copays, deductibles, prior balances, self-pay charges, and other applicable payments prior to services being rendered Verify patient insurance eligibility via phone or health plan portals prior to appointments Retrieve and release medical records in accordance with office policy and HIPAA guidelines Team Collaboration Participate in daily and weekly huddles, providing accurate patient and schedule updates to the care team
