Receptionist for physical therapy office needed. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills , and pleasant personality. Previous experience with computer skills, posting payments and insurance verifications are needed. Must be able to work some evening hours. Summary As a Medical Receptionist for the Rehabilitation Center, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and providers, ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk experience. Reporting to the Office Administrator, you will manage medical office operations, scheduling, patient check-in/out, and basic administrative tasks. Your role combines strong communication, computer proficiency, and patient service to support accurate records, insurance verification, and smooth clinic workflow, contributing to high-quality patient care and efficient rehabilitation services. Responsibilities Provide front-desk patient check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments, and managing a multi-line phone system with courtesy and efficiency. Perform medical administrative tasks including patient records management, insurance verification, payment posting, and HIPAA-compliant data entry. Maintain accurate medical terminology and coding support as needed, coordinate with clinical staff, and ensure timely communication of patient information. Utilize EHR systems to document visits, update charts, and manage billing-related tasks. Deliver exceptional patient service, manage clerical duties, and maintain organized filing and office operations. Qualifications Medical receptionist experience with front desk duties and patient service Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; multi-line phone system Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, medical terminology, CPT coding, and medical records management Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative abilities; healthcare insurance verification and payment posting familiarity preferred Health information management background or related office experience in a medical/rehabilitation setting
