Advanced Neurology Specialists, LLC is a growing private neurology and epilepsy practice in Naples, Florida, located at 800 Goodlette Frank Rd N, Suite 250. Our neurologist, Cory Lamar, MD, is triple board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy, and provides high quality, comprehensive care for a wide range of brain and nervous system conditions, including seizures, dementia, headaches, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and tremor. We are a smaller practice that is experiencing rapid growth. ABOUT THE POSITION
We are hiring a Front Desk to be both the first point of contact for patients and a supportive member of our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys talking with people and helping them feel at ease Can stay calm and polite with difficult or anxious patients Can juggle multiple tasks without losing accuracy Likes working closely with a physician and small team in a specialty practice You will support the smooth flow of the office so Dr. Lamar can focus on patient care and the practice can see more patients each day while maintaining excellent service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Front Desk and Patient Registration Greet patients warmly, check them in, and register new patients with complete and accurate information Answer incoming phone calls, handle messages, and route calls appropriately Schedule and confirm appointments using our electronic medical record (EMR) system Maintain accurate intake documentation and ensure all required forms are completed before the visit Scheduling and Coordination Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations Help optimize the schedule so patients are seen on time and the doctor's day runs smoothly Coordinate follow up visits and necessary testing, imaging, or referrals when requested by the physician Insurance, EMR, and Administrative Support Verify insurance and update coverage details in the EMR after training Work in our EMR system, with experience in eClinicalWorks considered a strong plus Collect copays and balances and provide receipts when needed Keep the front desk area tidy, organized, and professional Overall, your purpose in this position is to make every patient feel welcome, supported, and well cared for while ensuring the practice runs efficiently from the front desk through to the end of the visit.
WHAT YOU BRING
Basic medical terminology knowledge Prior medical office front desk or medical receptionist experience, preferably in a specialty practice Experience with EMR systems, with eClinicalWorks experience a definite advantage Strong interpersonal skills, polite and professional phone manner Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm with difficult or angry patients Attentive to details and accurate with data entry and documentation Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Part time, five day work week
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Wednesdays half day Compensation and benefits Starting pay 18 to 22 per hour , depending on experience Bonus opportunity Paid time off
TRAINING AND SUPPORT
