In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your energetic approach will help streamline clinic operations, facilitate accurate documentation, and support exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a passion for providing outstanding administrative support in a busy medical setting. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes Manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process insurance claims efficiently Collect patient information accurately, update medical records, and review documentation for completeness and correctness Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and responding to patient inquiries Maintain organized medical records, files, and billing documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with billing processes including medical collection efforts and coding procedures Support clinical staff with intake procedures, care plan documentation, and basic office management tasks such as filing and data entry Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative role within clinics or healthcare facilities Strong knowledge of EMR systems. Nextech Preferred Excellent understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and health information management practices Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic experience is preferred Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Outstanding communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all responsibilities Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patient care by providing seamless administrative support!
