The ideal candidate will have experience with

, insurance verification, patient scheduling, intake processing, and providing exceptional customer service in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities Front Desk Operations
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and providers in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic information.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, emails, and medical records requests. Patient Intake & Registration
  • Complete patient intake and registration processes.
  • Collect and verify required documentation, including identification and insurance cards.
  • Obtain patient consents and intake paperwork.
  • Enter patient information accurately into Sunwave EMR.
  • Ensure all intake forms are completed before appointments. Insurance Verification
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Obtain authorizations and referrals when required.
  • Communicate coverage information, copays, deductibles, and financial responsibilities to patients.
  • Resolve insurance-related issues and assist patients with questions regarding coverage. EMR Management
  • Utilize
EMR , ECW
for patient scheduling, documentation, and registration.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Monitor appointment schedules and provider calendars.
  • Assist providers and clinical staff with administrative support within the system. Administrative Support
  • Maintain organized patient files and records.
  • Process daily reports and appointment tracking.
  • Assist with office opening and closing procedures.
  • Support the clinical team with administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of front desk or medical office experience, preferably in behavioral health.
  • Experience with
EMR , ECW
required.
  • Experience with insurance verification and authorizations required.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health scheduling and intake processes preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Skills & Competencies
