We are searching for a high energy candidate to fill the Medical Receptionist/Front Desk role at our Port St. Lucie West location. The candidate must be enthusiastic about serving our patients in the community. You must be able to create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting patients and visitors in person, on the telephone or answering referral inquiries. Must be able to check-in and check-out patients in a timely manner. Accurately schedule appointments based on Provider recommendation and visit type. Collect co-payments and end of day reconciliation of payments. Maintain patient accounts by verifying insurance information and coordinating with relevant organizations for payment and referral requirements. Must be able to act as a team player and use effective communication with employees at all levels of the organization. Outstanding communication skills.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Associates of Arts preferred but not required
Experience:
Bilingual- Spanish a MUST Medical field experience is highly desirable Medical Terminology is highly desirable Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) eClinicalWorks electronic medical records system knowledge a plus
