The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring efficient clinic workflow. This role requires proficiency in various medical software systems and a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding practices. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations to ensure a positive experience. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. Verify insurance information and handle medical collections as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and others for documentation and scheduling. Process medical billing and coding using

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

coding, and other relevant coding systems. Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and handling multi-line phone systems. Assist with intake processes and care plan documentation as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, health information management, and insurance verification is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills are required; experience with Office Practicum, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software is a plus. Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette are necessary for this position.
