The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position requires a strong background in customer service, medical terminology, and clerical tasks to support the overall efficiency of our practice. Duties Coordinate patient treatment plans by reviewing documentation and ensuring all necessary information is collected and organized. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate patient records by filing documents and updating systems with relevant information. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care and treatment options. Utilize coding knowledge to assist with insurance claims processing, including Medicare documentation review. Ensure compliance with all medical regulations and standards while handling sensitive patient information. Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in computerized systems for documentation and record management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff. A background in customer service is essential for providing a positive patient experience.
