Job Description

Seeking a team member for our front desk at a friendly, outpatient physical therapy practice in both our Macon and Warner Robins locations. Serious applicants only! Jason Kent Physical Therapy, we put patient care first and are looking for someone who has a strong interest in helping others, has outstanding work ethic and is a team player. We will train on this position, as attitude and integrity are of upmost importance. Qualities that are also important for this position include: someone who has respect for others, has a friendly and professional personality, punctuality and organization, the ability to learn quickly and multitask, the ability to keep patient information confidential, works well on a team and takes pride in your performance and integrity. This is a full-time position that requires you to work Monday through Friday.
Job Duties MAY include:
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling patients
  • Collection of patient payments
  • Communicating with physician's offices regarding patient progress
  • Management of company daily logs
  • New patient intake/communication
  • Insurance Authorizations and Verifications
  • Understand and explain Benefits to new patients
  • Data Entry with accuracy
  • Help maintain a clean front office and waiting room Qualifications Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EHR systems such as WebPT Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding, training will be provided Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient service best practices, training will be provided Excellent clerical and office experience, with a focus on medical records management, training will be provided Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and provide exceptional customer service Do you believe that you are the right person for this position and want to learn more about what this position entails?
