Job Description

Large Specialty Medical Practice in Hawaii with offices on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. We are excited to announce openings for Front Desk Representatives and Medical Assistants to join our team in all of our locations. Applicants must possess exceptional customer service skills with the "Aloha" spirit, be mature, honest, compassionate, dependable, organized and able to openly communicate with patients and staff. These vital roles are designed to ensure smooth patient flow, deliver exceptional patient service, and support clinical operations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Front Desk Responsibilities include:
The front desk position requires you to work independently and as a team, multitasking between answering the phones, checking patients in and out, scheduling patients, entering patient demographics, verifying insurances, collecting co-pay and account balances, and supporting the clinical staff. Must have reliable and consistent attendance. Medical Assistant Duties include, but are not limited to: taking vitals, assisting the providers with office visits and non-invasive office procedures, dressing changes, ordering of medical supplies, calling in prescriptions, communicating with providers and patients for continuity of care, working closely with various health insurance prior authorizations, scheduling, answering phones, verifying insurance, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must possess strong work ethics and time management skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, eager and productive team player, be very organized, honest, mature, responsible, and reliable. Must be willing to commute to other office locations periodically.
